Scientific Name - Canna indica
Common Name - Canna Speckled Yellow
Canna indica is a long-lived (perennial) herbaceous plant, 90-180 cm tall. The upright (erect) stems (1-2m tall) are sturdy, hairless and green in colour. Canna indica forms large dense clumps, particularly in riparian zones (banks of watercourses), and replaces native freshwater and wetland species.
