Spider plant is a popular houseplant, belongs to the lily family and has a grass-like appearance, forming clumps of evergreen foliage.
Its lengthy, slender leaves sprout small white flowers on slender, outward-curving stalks. Once these flowers produce tiny fruits, miniature spider plant clusters, often called "baby spiders," emerge along the stalks and easily root wherever they touch the ground or when replanted.
