Cyperus papyrus is a grass like plant with traiangular stems and inconspicuous flowers. It is primarily a foliage plant and the modified leaves make the umbels pop and give a strong visual appeal. The greenish-brown flowers bloom in summer, then give the fruits, which look somewhat like a nut.
It performs well in full sun to partial shade.
