Common Name - Horsetail

Equisetum is a fast growing ornamental plant that adds vertical accent to a water feature. The stems are dark green in colour and hollow. Ridges run vertically along the stems, they contain silica deposits giving them a rough feel. The nodal regions of the plant have presence of black & cream coloured bands that stands out as a striking feature. It is extremely adaptable to varied light levels. It prefers full sun to partial shade.
