Juncus effusus is native to North America, Europe and Asia. It has soft, grass like stems bearing clusters of very small, greenish-brown, scaly flowers. It is suitable for water features, rain gardens and in erosion control. It is a low-maintenance plant with no serious pests or plant diseases.
